Dewflap the Bat - sketch

(Open Season rp fancharacter in progress for 's forums. When designing her I tried to integrate features from the beavers, skunks, and porcupine in the movie.)

Name: Dewflap
Gender: Female
Species: Little Brown Bat
Relation To OS Character(s): Was rescued by Gordy and rehabilitated by Beth (so Boog would know her too)

Personality: Adorable. Unless you're afraid of bats. Dewey is very friendly, sweet, and maybe a bit too giggly. It doesn't bother her when anyone thinks she's creepy, ugly, or gross for eating bugs. Which is just as well, as that happens all the time. It's the cross you have to bear for being a bat.

Description: Small for her species, Dewey is only about four inches long bodywise with an eight inch wingspan. Her fur is dark glossy brown (paler underneath) while her snout, ears, feet, and wing membranes are dark grey.

Bio: Dewflap was injured when she hit Gordy's Jeep's windshield during a storm, and Beth took her in to rehabilitate her. She spent the winter of that year in Beth's house and was released in the spring, but she didn't go back to the woods. Instead she took up a roost in the attic of the Sheriff's Station. Because of this she overhears much of what goes on in town.
